2004.5-2005 LLY OVERHEATING

If you have a GM Duramax vehicle built between 2004 and 2005, and have experienced:

1.  Excessive nuisance fan noise,

2.  Engine temperature (ECT gauge) concerns, or

3.  Unhappy with the grade towing performance, loss of power on grade

4.  Coolant loss and reduced power warnings

You have come to the right place. We have made a name for ourselves in understanding the complex nature of what causes ALL these symptoms. “Symptoms”, it is important to understand and use this term to describe what you are seeing.  The “cause” of this trouble, is NOT related to your cooling system.  If you are inclined to improve your cooling system as a remedy, you will be leaving the problem cause intact.

This section is dedicated to helping you understand what you are seeing, and how to remedy it.  You will be introduced to the concept of Thermal Feedback, in understanding the process as a thermal runaway.  The journey will bring you eventually to consider a True Cold Air Intake, an Induction Overhaul Kit, and LLY Signature Custom Tuning with software wastegate.  These are the only products on the market that were pioneered to address “cause” and not symptoms.  So take a look at these pages, and judge for yourself.
