DURAMAX TD-EOC PRICING
2001-2010
This 4” deep, 28″ long Engine Oil Cooling System has been researched (Click Here for the full report) and designed from the ground up, specific to the low speed work application, as a cooling system expansion project adding fully 20% to cooling system heat rejection capacity. Cooling the oil before it progresses to the coolant, it unburdens the entire cooling system, providing total thermostatic oil temperature control that no cooling system can provide with an oil-to-coolant heat exchanger alone. There are currently no over-the-counter oil coolers, at any price, that will produce heat rejection numbers that I have measured… none! The closest competitor falls short by 30% heat offload, and is more expensive.
Advantages:
- -No Added Fans Required, therefore, no electrical system burden either!
- -Lower oil temperatures, shown as much as 120 degrees lower.
- -Prevents oil pressure decay-improved under piston squirter performance
- -Reduced occurrence of piston cracking
- -Increases duty cycle of vehicles, allows heavier workloads.
- -Eliminates ECT runaway during severe work cycles*
- -Overheat Protection guarantee*, 121,000 BTU/hr, 30%, cooling system expansion
- -15-20 deg Transmission temperature reduction similar to aftermarket TOC’s
- -Improved Air Conditioning performance, est. at 130% capacity (with Air Dam)
- -Reduction of stock fan occurrence/drag-increased mpg. (with Air Dam)

OTHER ADVANTAGES:
- -Uniquely optimized for high oil flow rate, and low vehicle speed performance. No other oil cooler kit has less restriction to insure no oil flow loss to the motor.
- -Extremely robust, tank like construction.
- -Superior Lubrication at the lower, design oil temperatures.
- -Elimination of oil foaming and pump cavitation.
- -Longer life for all lubricated components, turbo longevity.
- -Reduced oil consumption on older vehicles.
- -Improved oil pressure with high loads.
- -No moving parts, fan burnouts or relay issues-maintenance free.
- -Lowest cost “per BTU” option available for cooling, less than 1 cent per BTU.
- -Leak security: can be removed to stock condition in 10 minutes, with one tool.
- -Free flowing AN-12 design, flow to the motor is not reduced.
- -25% System Capacity Expansion, 2.5 quarts. Compare to typical coolers with less than
- 0.5 quart capacity
- -Thermostatic regulation of oil temperature-will not run cold or overcool the motor.
- -Proper temperature permits use of less expensive non-synthetic oils if desired. Payback feature.
- -Longer oil change intervals possible.
- -Uses stock filtration location-warranty friendly.
- -Reduced shutdown time (turbo) after heavy work and reduced coking potential
- -Designed with Fumoto drain plug- optional.
- -Protected location with fresh air stream.
- -No special tools required.
- -Compatible with by-pass filtration, please ask.

L1 UPGRADE, AQP SYNTHETIC, 280 F
Aeroquip AQP, NHRA approved synthetic, fabric reinforced oil hose. Designed specifically for automotive petroleum oil, this extremely durable, 0.69 id, 280 F continuous temperature rating, 300 psi, AN-12 anodized aluminum re-useable socketless hose ends. Will never break down, even with synthetic oil…..….. 2 year line leak warranty, $75
-BUDGET VALUE
L2 UPGRADE, STAINLESS BRAID/AQP, 350 F
Aeroquip AQP synthetic racing/aviation hose, a lightweight aerospace grade hose and is used in al ltypes of racing venues for maximum abrasion resistance. Dual braid: It has a full coverage bonded outer braid of high tensile stainless steel. It has a partial coverage inner braid of stainless steel that is woven between the inner liner and a second layer of high temperature synthetic rubber-TOUGH AS NAILS!. Low restriction .69 ID, continuous operating temperatures from -40 F to +350 F, 400 F intermittent, 750 psi, AN-12 sweep stainless/nickel finish re-useable compression hose ends. If you use the vehicle for your hauling business, or subject it to frequent heavy tow loads, this option is highly recommended 5 year line leak warranty, $195
-PERFORMANCE VALUE MOCAL
MOCAL THERMOSTAT UPGRADE

MOCAL in-line aviation grade machined wax stat type thermostat, 2 additional lines and 4 additional hose ends. Recommended for anyone that experiences runaway ECT, overheat, or lives in very cold climates, concerned with warm-up time. Engineered with the reliability required of general aviation enthusiasts. It provides a better measure of precision thermostatic control in a narrow band of 180 to 195 degrees. It also adds considerable heat rejection capacity through oil flow control by circulating 45% more oil flow than the basic kit, up to 16 gpm at high rpm. It is highly recommended for better winter oil and ECT control, quicker engine warm-up time, A couple of other trade secret performance enhancements are included, to improve flow rate, are provided, $350.
Important: this option cannot be added later without changing all the lines.
AIR DAM

Required option for the overheat* guarantee, this air flow feature has proven indispensable to maximize the cooling effects of the EOC. As an added benefit, it creates more air flow for the radiator, transmission cooler and AC condenser as well. 15- 20 degree lower transmission temps will be observed and air conditioning effectiveness will increase. Just the reduction of fan noise, makes this option desirable. Built from double nylon reinforced rubber, the same used in big-rig mud flaps, it flex-mounts to the TD-EOC, and is easily removed; flexibility does not interfere with ground clearance. The resultant combination is a harmonious overheat cure, and fan silencer $175 BEST VALUE -HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
HIGH FLOW FUMOTO DRAIN VALVE:
Exclusive here, manufactured for this project, a high flow, o-ring seal version of the popular oil pan (type) Fumoto with nipple. Replaces existing EOC drain plug. Quick oil changes or quick drain of the EOC with a slide feature. Oil samples take 5 seconds with no tools.
TIP: I get asked which options are advised. The options I feel are the best money spent are Mocal and Air Dam. For thermal performance. These also have been priced with value in mind. If you do oil samples, you will definately find the Fumoto practical and convenient.
Thermostat Clarification: The T-stat control in the base kit is an acceptable and safe method of temperature control. The Mocal offers the best possible control of oil temperature, while preserving oil flow rate through the EOC for best performance. The flow rate through the cooler is 45% higher with the Mocal. The thermostat in the base kit is eliminated when this option is ordered. Options A and B exploit every last BTU of capacity available, especially at high RPM performance and towing operations. For best thermal performance, the Chevy make requires an easy slot modification to the lower valence, complete step by step instructions included.
