Love the new ECM we got from you!! Even the wife has commented on how much better the truck drives!!! I never drove the truck with just the factory program but this has been a HUGE improvement over the Banks 6 Gun tuner. Your programming has also corrected (what was thought to be a fuel issue) at 2500rpm and saved us a lot of money that would have been spent on a mechanic finding the cause. We are camping tonight so I’m curious how it will be towing the camper but from what I’ve seen so far, I’m impressed. The only question I have is the order of tunes on the DSP5? I know 1or full counterclockwise is idle only and 3 or center setting is “valet”. 2 feels like the 18hp so I’m assuming 4&5 are 48hp & 88hp respectively.
It’s been interesting noticing the differences in the boost pressure(at warm-ups, going down the interstate and when I’m asking for serious power) and exhaust temps.
The instructions you sent were spot on and very easy to follow!!! I work for an electronics company so I had the correct installation tool for inserting the pins. My only issues was that I was having trouble installing the pins and found that a small piece of the “blue” filler had broken off in the connector. I had to take a paperclip to push it against one end and use a small drill bit in a pin vise to hand twist this out of both holes. The Blue fillers looked complete when I pulled them out but there must have been a ball end on the smaller diameter?

I was waiting to run a couple tanks of fuel, but so far so good.
Now can you explain to me why my truck’s different than other trucks?
My four wheel drive light still doesn’t work with the ECM you did not sure why?

I just wanted to pass along my experiences with your tuning. First off WOW, what a difference compared to my Hypertech Max Energy tuner. The shifts are all very smooth and enjoyable and the power is not jerky and I can see how the claims of 22-24 MPG can be true with this level of smoothness. I can also see that my towing mileage should improve as well…
I have had my gauges in for a few months now and watch them religiously. The boost gauge is mounted in the metal intake piece on the upper passenger side of the motor just under the intake track and the egt sensor is in the same spot everyone does it on the pass side exhaust manifold. After your IOH kit was installed I noticed my peak boost #’s to never get past 25 lbs, so I was surprised to see the boost climb so fast but to peg the gauge at 30 lbs. I was unaware the stock turbo could do this. I have also limped my trans for the first time yesterday while towing on the 3rd setting (bumper hitch flatbed weighing 4500lbs maybe) and then again tonight playing around on the 4th setting not towing. I had just changed the fuel filter and engine oil but did not have an Allison spin-on(but will be getting more shortly) at the time. The truck has just over 119k on it and I have driven it since 60k and have had my Hypertech installed since 65-70k on various levels. Obviously if there is any damage to the trans at this point it can not be blamed on anyone but myself but I just wanted to give you the honest opinion and findings from your kit.” Matt Schulte

tunes are great. i ran around town trying out the diff tunes. all have great throttle response on the low and top end. this weekend i towed my 26 weekend warrior and switched off between level 1 and 2. they both work great for what i was towing (maybe 12k) i pulled up a pretty steep hill in 4th, the egts never went over 1200 and the turbo was barely over 10psi and it easily held 55-60mph. over all the truck sounds better and runs smoother. …i love it so far” Derrik Elbertse

I received my ECM today, and let me start by saying HOLY SMOKES!! What a difference. This truck finally feels the way I thought it should feel all along. I should have investigated this way earlier, but I was convinced my FPR had something to do with it. The truck feels amazing, and I am extremely impressed with how well the power comes on. There is no point where you feel a sudden change in tune, it just seamlessly builds. I am very happy with the custom tuning, and very happy with your customer service.
